I’ve been wanting to develop better technique/skill at holding a camera without a tripod. Mainly for Macro shots, there’s a guy on DeviantArt who use a Canon mp e-65 without a tripod! I can’t use a few filters without blurring the image from too much movement!
So if there is any exercises I can do to help steady my aim, or techniques I would really appreciate it! But if they only way is to practice, please feel free to tell me!
So far All I can think of is t use the viewfinder? Does this help steady your aim? I’m hoping to get a new DSLR sometime soonish, which will obviously have a decent viewfinder. The Non-SLR I have now only has a crappy electronic one, that has a huge delay on it!

Some of the shots aren’t bad as the subjects don’t move XD

IS Image Stabilization technology is the way to go when you do buy the new camera.
Prop the camera on something solid wherever you are shooting from.
Hold your breath.
Squeeze gently, practice and notice if you are moving the camera while pressing the button.
