How do I take pictures of the meteor shower with my Sony Alpha 200 DSLR camera?

To get the streaking effect for the meteors you’re going to use a long shutter speed and a tripod – a longer shutter speed is going to capture more of the meteors. And using a large f-stop makes the stars are brighter.
Then all you’ve gotta do i wait for them to come down while the shutter is open
